It all started with a hammer
Andrew Courtney spent years perfecting his craft before establishing Red Hammer Builders in 2010. Inspired by the red hammer he used in his grandfather’s workshop, our name pays homage to where Andrew developed a passion for making things and his love for building.

Andrew refined his building techniques by working with renowned timber-framing builders on Martha’s Vineyard. He continued to expand his knowledge and perfect his craft by working with master builders in the smoky mountains of North Carolina and throughout Massachusetts. Andrew earned his degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Vermont, which has been essential as a business owner, ensuring that all projects flow smoothly from start to finish.

Ashley is our client’s first point of contact. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mass Art and Design, she has a keen eye for detail and a love of design. She manages all aspects of marketing and client relations.
